1. General Terms

Welcome to Rip the Stitch Design. By purchasing our products, placing an order, or requesting custom embroidery services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

These terms are intended to establish clear expectations between Rip the Stitch Design and our customers.

2. Products and Handmade Items

Rip the Stitch Design offers embroidered apparel, accessories, and other personalized products.

• Each item is created with care, and minor variations may occur in stitching, thread placement, colour, and finished appearance.
• Product colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting, and material.
• Product availability may vary depending on inventory and supplier availability.
• We reserve the right to update product offerings, designs, and pricing as needed.

3. Custom Orders

Custom embroidery orders are prepared according to the details agreed upon with the customer.

• Customers are responsible for providing accurate spelling, names, initials, design details, and other personalization information.
• Please review all order details carefully before confirming your purchase.
• Once a custom order has entered production, changes may not be possible.
• Custom designs may differ slightly from digital mockups due to the embroidery process, fabric type, and design limitations.
• Production timelines will be communicated where possible and may vary depending on order volume and design complexity.

Rip the Stitch Design will make reasonable efforts to produce items according to the agreed specifications.

4. Payments and Pricing

• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
• Payment must be made according to the payment arrangements provided at the time of purchase.
• Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, will be communicated as required.
• Custom orders may require full or partial payment before production begins.
• Any deposit, balance, or payment deadline will be communicated before the order is confirmed.

Orders may be delayed or cancelled if agreed payment requirements are not met, subject to applicable law.

5. Cancellations, Returns, and Exchanges

Because personalized products are made specifically for each customer, custom orders may not be eligible for cancellation, return, or exchange once production has begun, except where required by applicable law.

For non-custom products:

• Return or exchange requests must be submitted within a reasonable period after purchase.
• Items must be unused and in their original condition, where applicable.
• Proof of purchase may be required.
• Sale items and special promotions may have additional conditions disclosed at the time of purchase.

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: Please contact Rip the Stitch Design as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate resolution arranged.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies customers have under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Product Care

Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided with their products.

To help preserve embroidered items:

• Follow the garment’s washing instructions.
• Turn embroidered clothing inside out before washing when appropriate.
• Avoid excessive heat or direct ironing on embroidered areas.
• Do not use care methods that are unsuitable for the fabric or thread.

Rip the Stitch Design is not responsible for damage resulting from improper washing, drying, ironing, storage, or other care contrary to the supplied instructions or the item’s care label.

7. Shipping, Delivery, and Pickup

Available delivery, shipping, and pickup options will be communicated when an order is placed.

• Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
• Estimated delivery and completion dates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed otherwise.
• Shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.
• Customers should contact us promptly if an order is missing, damaged, or has not arrived within the expected timeframe.

Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Design Ownership and Intellectual Property

Original artwork, embroidery designs, logos, graphics, photographs, and other creative materials created by Rip the Stitch Design remain the property of their respective owners unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing a finished product does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying artwork or design files.

Customers submitting artwork or logos are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights and permissions for their intended use. Rip the Stitch Design may decline requests that appear to infringe another party’s intellectual property rights.

9. Photos and Social Media

Rip the Stitch Design may share photographs of products, embroidery work, and completed designs for promotional purposes.

Customer names, private messages, and other identifying information will not knowingly be shared publicly without appropriate permission, unless otherwise permitted or required by law.

Customers who do not want an identifiable custom order featured in promotional content should notify us before the item is photographed or posted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rip the Stitch Design is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or delays outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability, warranties, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

Rip the Stitch Design reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions as our business practices, products, and services evolve.

Updated terms will be published or provided through our applicable business channels. The terms applicable to a particular order will be subject to the agreement with the customer and applicable law.
